Funded Imperial/NUS PhD position
We are looking for motivated PhD applicants to work on novel program analysis techniques that would increase the reliability of evolving software. Please take a look at this paper and this one for two examples of work in this area.
We are particularly looking for students having a strong background in compilers and/or program analysis, and experience with building and working with large software systems.
The PhD will be co-supervised by Cristian Cadar and Abhik Roychoudhury as part of the joint PhD program between Imperial College London and National University of Singapore. The student must spend 50% of their time at each institution, and will obtain a joint PhD degree conferred by both institutions. If you would like to have Imperial College London as you home institution, you need to apply by 14 February 2014. You also need to be a European Union resident.
If you would like to have the National University of Singapore as you home institution, you need to apply by 15 April 2014. There are no nationality or residency requirements.
Funding information
This is a fully funded position which covers all fees and includes a monthly stipend/bursary.
